The new Terminal 3 of the airport completed in 2011 is anticipated to be the 2nd largest terminal after Beijing’s Capital Airport T3. This massive modern terminal forming the 1st phase of the airport expansion in which a U shaped building would be developed in a modular manner will usher it into the 21st century.
Designed by HOK working in consultation with Mott MacDonald, the two tier terminal building would feature the departure complex on the upper level and the arrivals on the lower level.
Terminal 3 features 55 contact aerobridges and 30 remote parking bays for passenger comfort.
